Totally wrong..in homes bill are charged as per KWH readings not on Kvah readings..if our powerfactor is low then Kvah readings will increase,not kwh .Thts why industries billing is done on Kvah reading and they are required to install power factor correction equipments.

Domestic bills are calculated based on Active Power (KW). But the addition of a reactive component like a capacitor can alter the reactive power, but will have no effect on the active power drawn. So how KWHr will reduce by adding a capacitor across your supply ?

ट्रांसफार्मर की कैपेसिटी kva में होती है। जैसे 25kva, 63kva etc. हम जानते है KVA=KW+KVAR जिसमे KW HAMARI ACTIVE POWER HAI और KVAR हमारी रिएक्टिव पावर है। रिएक्टिव पावर जितनी कम होगी उतनी ही अधिक एक्टिव पावर बनेगी।जोकि हमारी उपयोगी पावर है जिसे हम खर्च करते है जिसके आधार पर बिलिंग होती है। कैपेसिटर रिएक्टिव पावर को घटाता है। घेरेलू मीटर में पावर फैक्टर सामान्यता 0.95 से 0.99 रहता है। क्योंकि वहा मोटर ज्यादा उपयोग में नही होती है मोटर एक लैगिंग लोड है जिसमे KVAR ज्यादा बनती है जोकि एक USELESS POWER है। इसलिए कैपेसिटर एक बेहतर डिवाइस है। और इससे बिल कम होता है।अगर आपका लोड लैगिंग है

Sir me North bihar me bill nikal ta hu aur. November se nikali bibhag ne Comacial bill me pf charge lena suru kar diya hai aur. Jam me ak ghar me bill nikal aur aur usame kwh reading dala aur phir pf maga jo tha 0.50 aur load tha 1kw to unaka capacitor charge 571 rupaye liya ab ham se pucha raha hai kis chij kar chat jora hai. Total bill unka 1287 ka hai. Aur me ak jo Frenchaege liya hai unke udar me kam kar ta hu aur me ne koi basic trenimg bhi nahi liya hai mujhe sirf ye bata diya gya kai ki Ampiare ke bad khe aata hai wo dalana hai aur load dalana hai.
