While I don't fall into the $20M+ club, I do like to see how Root adjusts to the varying needs of its client base and that it serves a diverse client base whether paying customers or viewership. Down with cookie cutters. We need more rice things.

Thanks for Part Deux of the $20 million couple! I enjoyed your pieces of rice story. As a Wal*Mart shopper, I have purchased one, two and five pound bags. Never have I encountered the option to purchase individual grains of rice! Maybe Whole Foods has this option? But you are right, it would seem strange (not to mention the mess) to see a grown man check out with 100 grains of loose rice. I am laughing to myself just picturing this!

It seems like you’re describing “direct indexing” in this video with the SMA to get the primary benefit of Tax Loss Harvesting. You can do this with products from Frec or Wealthfront for 0.1% or 0.09% instead of the old 1% standard, or the newer 0.4% with Schwab or Fidelity SMAs that do this. Am I missing something?

I don't understand the difference Sma with a brokerage account with a few stock in it.

Doing the lords work here Ari. I mean who is more underserved, or vulnerable than the top .05% of asset holders?

I’d be curious for you to review my theoretical situation: mid 40’s, 2M in stocks, 4M in real estate, 45k Roth IRA, around 400k in long term cheap debt at around 4%
