Bamyan people are very poor and don't have money to buy wood and coal, so the went to the hell of Bamyan and bring Khar(bush) after that they burn the bush in winter and get the worm.
It is particularly hard to collect fuel for the winter in places where nothing grows. Getting even the poorest bushes is a demanding task requiring lots of dedication and extensive traveling. Seeing the efforts and understanding as well the environmental impact, one can clearly and quickly understand why it is important to invest into development of Energy Saving Solutions and other approaches, helping people in Bamyan to improve their living conditions.
