Legit watched this video today again after a 30% off repco sale. Changed the oil and fuel filter between the fuel tanks. With the money saved I paid for our accomodation and supplies for a upcoming camping trip. Cheers

Been doing my oil change exactly like you have showed in the video for years on my 150. Great vid can’t fault your method. You can also get the fancy copper crush washers from super cheap. Brake cleaner is good to clean up excess/dripped oil after👍👍

Very useful video and tips! Thank you! btw, Since you have raised the front of the vehicle, I was wondering whether this influence the amount of oil you drain from the car... with raised front will you drain more or less or same amount of oil as if it was on flat ground? Thanks!
@prado150outahere Жыл бұрын
Thank you. Yes it may influence it a little, but negligible I think.

How often should you change oil / filter in prado 150 D4D (2023) ?
@prado150outahere9 ай бұрын
I personally do my oil changes every 5000kms. However, it's personal preference. I know if you're paying a mechanic this can be expensive. I would refer to your warranty if it's still under warranty and your service manual.

Great video. Exactly what I was looking for ( same car too 👍) Thanks for posting. Would you recommend and oil flush every now and then when changing the oil?

If its a brand new vehicle, would you suggest going to the original dealership for the first while before start doing oil changes yourself?

Yeah mate. You'll have to go to dealer or authorised mechanic for warranty purposes 👍

Hint: Go easy and don’t fasten the plug so tight! It has nothing to hold but itself and the threat is conical, much easier to damage than cylindrical.
