My wedding is in September and I have yet to discuss flowers with my florist. This video is so helpful. Love the single flower with ribbon idea and seasonal flowers as I know my colour scheme. This video is still relevant in 2021. Thanks for creating 🌸🌻🌼🌹🌷💐

Another tip from my florist, if you really love an expensive specific flower (like dahlias, orchids, peonies) have them in your bridal bouquet but not in the centerpieces where they won't be noticed as much.

Thank you for being so genuine in sharing the tools and resources of your craft. I have only seen two of your videos thus far, and I am grateful for both of them. They are very insightful and extremely useful. I especially respect the fact that you do not try to push on hiring a wedding planner for us budget brides. I've stumbled upon another wedding planner channel who persistently throws in a sales pitch and is adamant about getting a professional day of coordinator or wedding planner on every video and it comes off very tactful and not sincere. I love and support the fact that you are genuinely here to help us to gain the knowledge we may need for the big day. I am getting married next Spring and will definitely be using these budget tips for my wedding flowers, along with the day of the wedding hacks you gave in the first video I watched. I am extremely glad that I stumbled upon your channel. I have even passed it onto my friends who are future brides, and they too have subscribed. We will continue following and flourishing along the side of you. Thank you very much for what you do. Keep up the great work!

I've just found your channel and I'm so glad! My fiance and I have been engaged for a while but wanted to wait until we had saved the money for our wedding, and I'm so lost I've already started researching even though we don't plan on getting married for another 2 years. I've only watched a few videos but you've already helped so much. I love how detailed you are with your advice, but without giving strong personal opinions, and how knowledgeable you are about the field. Thank you for making this channel!

Thanks for the video!! I don't want to toss my bouquet (but I also don't want to have the florist make a second one, that's crazy) can I do without that tradition? What have other brides done?
@BluebirdBrideAcademy3 жыл бұрын
Keep it for yourself, its your bouquet. ☺️. You can even get it dried to keep forever ❤️

First it isnt Holland its the Netherlands. As a Dutch florist I dont get why you dont buy your flowers local I really dont get why you guys pick all the flowers from the Netherlands.
@BluebirdBrideAcademy3 жыл бұрын
Thanks for your insight. I work with a lot of florists that now source locally wherever possible as it is much more sustainable but it it is not always possible for them to do so. I believe a lot more florists over here are trying to do the same where they can.
@arinavandam90283 жыл бұрын
@@BluebirdBrideAcademy it keeps the local econnemy flowering!! And yeah the Netherlands is famous about their flowers but the prices will stay skyhigh if there are a lot of shops who still ordering!!
