Thank you. Before we used it I couldn’t find any info on the digital pass so thought it might help others. Have a great trip in November.

@@TravelwithTanyaandSimon Thank you. By the way, based on your personal experiences, how about the weather there in November? Does it often rain or not? Do I need to bring an umbrella?
@TravelwithTanyaandSimon3 ай бұрын
We’ve been really early December and I can’t remember it raining. To be honest, with the way weather goes anywhere these days who knows. We usually don’t take umbrellas as they’re quite cheap to buy in convenience stores everywhere. They are about AUD$4-8. We just buy one if we need it.

Our pleasure. Next week’s video is how to do a day trip to Kyoto and what you can fit in. Keep an eye out for it as it will make is so much easier if it’s your first time.

Great info! What are the top 4 attractions included with the pass that you would recommend?
@TravelwithTanyaandSimon3 ай бұрын
Definitely the river cruise in Dotonbori, going up the Umeda Sky Building, the Museum of Housing and Living (closed this time we went) and Osaka Castle if you’ve not done it before. Hope your travels are going well by the way!

@@TravelwithTanyaandSimon We've never done the Museum of Housing and Living. We'll check it out! We've definitely done Osaka Castle. We actually lived in Osaka for a year from 2006-2007. We'll be in Osaka in November. We are like you guys--we just can't stay away!

Did you go up to Koyasan when you lived there? I love how tranquil it is. I’d love to go again and stay with the monks. Just watched your video on work spaces btw. Then spent the afternoon looking for appropriate accommodation for our trip next year 😀

@@TravelwithTanyaandSimon Yes! My mom and I did a temple stay in Koyasan. It was so peaceful. The forest was incredible! Hope our video was helpful! Where are you going next year?

We are taking 4 months off work and flying to San Francisco and Seattle then doing a cruise up to Alaska and across to Tokyo. We’ve done it in the opposite direction before. We’re then going to spend 3 months in Thailand and Vietnam before heading back to Australia.

Hi! Did you booked your pass separately or did you booked it all together? I'm worried about the pass that I got for me and my companion.
@TravelwithTanyaandSimon3 ай бұрын
We each bought our own but the website says you can buy 4 and transfer them.

What’s the difference between Osaka amazing pass and Osaka e pass?
@TravelwithTanyaandSimon2 ай бұрын
Looking at the epass website it appears that transportation isn’t included and it appears that there are some places aren’t included e.g. Osaka Castle tower. Amazing pass includes transportation for the amount of days once you activate as well as some additional facility entry costs. It would be worth looking at both websites to compare what would work for you.

Found out This pass is no longer available. Could this be true.

E pass / no transportation

The Osaka Amazing Pass? We only used it a few weeks ago and it’s still available on their website and on Klook. I’d say the card version of the pass has stopped and it’s now purely digital. As long as you’ve got wifi connection the digital one is great.

Great video! May i know if i buy from Klook, does each person need to use their phone and buy from Klook? Because I have 4 person traveling with me. Was thinking of just using my own phone for all of us
@TravelwithTanyaandSimon3 ай бұрын
Hi. I’ve tried to find the answer to that one but can’t find it. On their website it says that you can buy multiple and transfer them but it doesn’t say anything about using multiple on one phone. I’m not sure how you could use on one phone with using to get through the train stations as you need to swipe on the QR reader to get through the gates. Sorry, I can’t answer that one as we used it on our own phones.

Thank you so much for your 2 videos. I found it really helpful. Two questions: 1) Your total : 17,160, is this 1 person? 2) can I buy a physical card? Many thanks for your sharing 🙏🤍
@TravelwithTanyaandSimon3 ай бұрын
Our pleasure! Yes that was a total value over the two days per person. We could have used it even more and saved more but had others plans. You used to be able to get a physical card years ago and we’d used it many times but I don’t know if you can anymore. We’d bought it in the visitor centre in Namba. Their store has moved from where it was but it’s still in Namba Station but much smaller. I didn’t notice it until the day we flew out.
