I agree with the idea of Indoor, Vertical Farming because it will protect us from harsh weather, pests and weeds, so it'll give us more control.

I am not picking on David Attenborough - he is a sentient being, and he has done so, so much for our understanding of nature and done so, so much to help nature and the planet. I will say though that, despite our being natural omnivores, we absolutely should switch our diet to vegan, for the animals, our health and the planet. If the world went vegan, it could have a huge, positive effect on our planet - from saving the rainforests to potential reduction in greenhouse gases and saving endangered species (true vegans would never choose to eat any animal, and so would never choose to eat a pangolin or any other endangered species). Animals, including us humans need nutrients, not ingredients. We need protein, but not necessarily meat. We can get our protein from other sources like beans, tofu, tempeh, lentils, quinoa and also a moderate amount of faux meat. If we all went organic and vegan, we could potentially help our planet even more. Yes, even just reducing our meat intake could help, but going vegan is even better for the planet than just reducing your meat intake, especially as dairy can also have a negative impact on our planet as well. Please watch Cowspiracy and go live vegan for life!

How to save ... well, no need to save anything if we simply stopped destroying it. Do these videos actually do anything, affect change, convince anyone to do something different? Most of this is common sense, so why do we need Attenborough to tell us about it before we do something?

Lol at "If we eat less meat, it would be better for our health." 6:32 He means "If we eat no meat, it would be better for our health." But of course this can't be said, because then this film would not reach the mainstream demographic.

This doesn't mean shit if you don't do it on global scale. Especially in poor country like Africa. Wwf could help them by building vertical farms near every city in Africa because they won't do it them self, they don't have money do so. But nobody gives a fuck. We are all talking about what we should do instead of doing it.
