It's good that you are back and save most of them in that rectangular pot. Are they your new purchase or propagation? I know it will be all good, could be blessing in disguise and end up with more plants. 🥰

Did not grow them myself and they're only a few months old in my care. The new babies that will survive will definitely be much stronger than their mommies.

I hate when I experienced this in my garden, but I love how you are so positive tita kahit nabulok sila hehe ,sana tumubo padin yung mga natira pero minsan we just need to accept na they rotted and we cant do anything to save them pag super lala na ng pagkabulok

Kaya vigilance is important. In my case, I just need to find the time to put them in my garden so they can look after themselves.

Hi from ‘Pinas, ma’am Liz! Thankful to have subbed to your channel! ☺️ I’m in awe of your lovely collection and am yet to watch more of your informative vids. Maulan ngayon dito sa location ko, so I’m trying my best to protect my small collection of succulents, cacti and euphorbia from the heavy downpour. I have watched your vid about your homemade pesticide/fungicide solution. Thank you so much for that! If I may ask, will 70% isopropyl alcohol do instead of denatured alcohol? Or, no substitutions?😊
@GrowingSucculentswithLizK3 жыл бұрын
Unfortunately, Isopropyl Alcohol doesn't work. It has to be 95%proof(Ethanol) denatured alcohol.

Hi Liz thanks for your video How do you care sedum stahlii? The leaf from mine keep on falling and they are turns green 🥲
@GrowingSucculentswithLizK Жыл бұрын
The leaves do fall off easily on mine as well. They grow easily so when they fall off, that just means more plants in the future to make them compact. Likes to be watered often if grown in fast draining soil and best grown in full sun to color up.

Hi Liz, I have another question. Does this need to be denatured alcohol or can it be ethyl or isopropyl alcohol? Just curious, I can get denatured it just cost a bit more. But I need something that will treat fungi also. I was looking at the premixed neem oil products but scared it will burn my plants up.
@GrowingSucculentswithLizK2 жыл бұрын
Denatured with 95% proof unless you have ISO alcohol with the same strength.

I've experienced having a rotten succulent today. I just started collecting them. So I bought a "rescue" succulent from Bunnings that was really in a bad shape like those ones po tita. I air dried it then dunked in seasol before I repotted. 1 week after, lumala po ng lumala ung problem. All the little babies that I thought were healthy started rotting. I saved some of them but they rotted too (not in soil). I sheltered that echeveria but this super rain here in Qld the past few days really made the soil wet dahil po sa angge kahit naka shelter za. So today, the stem/trunk of it was really black. I cut the top of it na super liit na Lang po ang natira and I am truly not sure if magsu survive za. I tried saving some leaves from it before pero sobrang nipis po kc ng dahon so they just ended up rotting din for reason that I don't know.
@GrowingSucculentswithLizK2 жыл бұрын
Buying rescue plant is a hit and miss. In my experience, 90% of the time they don't survive. The reason they are in a bad state is because there's already something bad happening inside and outside.
@michelledejesus1962 жыл бұрын
Thank you po tita. It was my first time rescuing a succulent so mabigat pa rin sa pakiramdam lol. All other type of plants that i "rescue" are thriving. It was an echeveria pumila that I really wanted to grow. Maybe it wasn't for me but I'm still crossing my fingers for this super tiny part of it that's left. Have a nice day po and hope your hubby is feeling better today.

Hi👋 One of my succulent got stem rot, so i cut the affected part and left it for few days. Now what should I do? Directly pot it in soil? Need ur help.
@GrowingSucculentswithLizK2 жыл бұрын
It depends what the succulent is but as a general rule, you can plant it in your soil but don't water for a couple of weeks or until you feel that the pot is light or the soil has dried up. Then soak overnight and drain. Good luck.

How long it takes for a fully grown succulents from leaf propagation.
@GrowingSucculentswithLizK2 жыл бұрын
Depends on the succulent Genus and variety. Some starts showing pups in a week, others can take eight months to grow a small plant bump. Some don't grow from a leaf at all.

I use them to gain experience on how to best revive unhealthy or sick plants so that people who watches my videos like yourself can get the best information on how to look after their plants and also save time and money from experimenting themselves. Thanks for watching.

I'm the same way , my motto is .....all I can do is give them a 50/50 chance to survive. It does hurt at times to throw out what might be able to survive .... specially if it's the only one you have in the collection!
