Notice you pronounce the f when it's the last letter in a word, but not (in this case) when it's followed by the s. Something important but which he neglected to mention because he as a French native doesn't even notice the difference.

Sorry to disagree. F followed by an s is generally pronounced as in the French words /chefs/, /brefs/, /juifs/, /actifs/, etc. Only a few French words have an f that is not pronounced when it's followed by an s, such as : /oeufs/, /boeufs/ and also /os/ (which has the same spelling at the singular an at the plural but not the same pronounciation)

man, french doesn't make sense. there is too much letters and pronounce a few, the vowels sometimes sounds different.

I don't think I could hear the "zuh" after the number if someone were talking to me about a recipe, blends in too closely.
