So precious! Way cool scenery too! I bet people see the snow shoes and think how they look to be doing nothing but making walking difficult. I know different. LOL Very glad you had them for that hike.

My first steps in snow shoes are on film. 7 miles that day.

@@ModernMountainLiving - WOW! Well done! I walked through 5, 6 or 7 foot once without snowshoes. Thank goodness it was just a small distance from the side of the road to the Iditarod trail. And standing waist deep in snow at probably 20 below was well worth watching those mavericks fly by on their sleds. And the dogs were magnificent! If ever I did that again, I want snow shoes! LOL

@@PaullaWells You beat me to the Last Frontier! There and Hawaii are the only states for me to visit. My Wife; not too excited about colder than we are here. Idaho is warmer than our place here.

@@ModernMountainLiving - LOL Just has a lot more snow. LOL I've not been to Hawaii either, but every southern state from Virginia to California. Most of the North Eastern states. All below Rhode Island. South of Nebraska and Nevada as well including those two states.. Then several times through Washington, but only the Seattle Airport. All of the big sky country is unseen. Bucket list is to step foot in every state in America, with the exception of Hawaii. That might not be doable, but if it comes to pass there is an opportunity I will be on it like white on rice believe you me. 😉 I'm not counting the other countries I've seen here either. LOL
