Very interesting! I like to learn about the origin and meaning of sayings. Especially now the little pieces of wisdom that give insight into Chinese culture. Learning the Chinese language is exhausting (and wonderful), little stories are relaxing. Thank you

Mastering a second language is easier said than done. I was strongly reminded of a story I heard many years ago about a famous piece of music called "Hua Mei San Nong". The storyteller was a young woman from Beijing Language and Culture University, School of Arts who created a beautiful video to introduce the song before she played it on a bamboo flute. She narrated the video in english but made many grammatical errors and mistakes in pronunciation because she was learning and practicing a new language. I loved the sound of her vocal intonation which seems to be a Taiwanese accent and admired her courage and effort to practice public speaking on KZbin.
