How to Scan Local Channels on Hisense Android Smart TV

Hisense should be ashamed of themselves, making it so diffucult to watch free tv, trying to push people into packages with Roku! For those without the ch option, going to Settings, then Help, then connect with Antenna, it will direct you to a video to show you how to add ch's with an external antenna. Going to settings, live tv, network, set up, then setup antenna. I may have mixed up the order of network and live tv, but the :53 second video will help make it easy to setup local ch viewing. Much success all!

I’ve watched about 20 videos on this and all of them show settings>channel mine does not have channels in settings.. I can only do auto scan/cable in auto under inputs.. anyone have an answer??

i was just having this issue. i figured maybe there’s no “channel” option in the settings because of a loose connection. i simply hand tightened the cable line then lo and behold, the “channel” option appeared right where every instructional video said it would be. check your connections because i think the option only appears if the tv is receiving an input.

BUT, I have a Hisense •Roku TV remote. It doesn't have a MENU button. AND, there's nothing in SETTINGS that addresses it.
