Best thing you can do as a guerrilla fighter is to set where the soldiers aren’t expecting to face opposition. You can learn a thing or two from exfil-camping as a scav that could translate to real-world tactics. It’s definitely more involved than that, but it’s a start.

Curse you - now I bet I'm going to get killed the next time I try to extract there! This strat is effective because Path to Lighthouse is a PMC only extract (so as a scav you can be deep in the extract) which is always available (more PMCs might take it) and it's the closest extract to Resort (so PMCs coming from there are likely to use it). In addition, Road to Customs and Tunnel now have AI scav spawns whereas Path to Lighthouse does not. The only downside to this strat is you need to give yourself enough time to get to Tunnel (worst case).

I think this video shows that chads are safer with you exit camping. If you exit camp they at least get the chance to pick a different exit, they would all die if you were looking for them.
