How to score 130+ in AAO (SSC CGL) paper in one month - My Booklist

In this video, I have shared my experience and the booklist I used to prepare for AAO paper in one month period. These books helped me a non-commerce student to understand the basics of accounts and economics, I hope they will be useful for you as well. However, whatever resource you follow, just be regular and have confidence on yourself. YOU CAN DO IT !!!!
The first book is part of ICAI CA CPT foundation course.
It has most of the accounts topic covered. The book which I have is a 2010 edition so pls don't remember it by its cover page. The current exact name and cover page might look different.
All the other 3 books (Author- Jain & Ohri), cover almost everything of Economics part of question paper.

Last minute preparation strategy for self study - Time period - 20 days, Min. 2 hours/day Prerequisites - good reading and comprehension speed • 5 days - Accounts (Tej sir coaching notes available on telegram channel). Cover 3 topics daily. • 5 days - Microeconomics (TR jain book or NCERT or any other class XI economics book). Focus on basics of economics, demand & supply chapters. • 5 days - Do PYQs of macroeconomics & Indian Economy development. Some questions are doable even without any special preparation. Some others will require subject knowledge. So, cover the remaining topics selectively from any source ( For eg. Simple Google search on types of unemployment or go through basic books for types and formula of topics like GDP, deficits, national income calculation from NCERT or any other standard book for class 12 economics). Last 5 days - Buffer time, finish your unfinished targets. If you finished your targets then revise whatever you learnt and solve one last year paper daily. Remember, Even if you couldn't finish the complete syllabus, it's fine, nobody could finish the complete syllabus thoroughly in 20 days in first time preparation, so just relax and revise PYQs. If you are still unsure, want a teacher, then you can consider the online course by Tej Sir (Full Score youtube channel). I cannot give a review of that, you have to talk to his students for that. Final advice from my experience - Turn your fear and panic into your source of motivation. This will increase your efficiency in last minute preparation. Best of luck!!!

SSC CGL for aao Tier 1 (common for all) After that how many exam's are there? Like tier2 and tier 3???

Now tier 3 is scrapped off, So only tier 2 for AAO after Pre. One extra paper in tier 2 for AAO. Earlier there used to be 3 levels (tier) for AAO.

Cut off depends on vacancies. But generally it is 150 and above. If seats are less like 250 or so, it can go as high as 165-180 (normalised score). This year there are around 700 (tentative) so you can expect around 155-165 (UR category). Again it depends on other factors as well like the level of difficulty of the question paper, normalisation of marks and performance of other students.

For targeting SSC CGL, Complete the syllabus and practice as much as you can with Previous year papers. One by one, complete the syllabus of all 4 subjects asked in tier 1 & tier 2 & also accounts and economics for tier 2 (paper 3). After 1 year when your syllabus is finished and you are ready to check your knowledge, start filling SSC CHSL and MTS forms just for practice and real exam experience.

You have 3 years before graduation which is more than enough for preparation. For GS (finance) paper, cover 11th 12th class economics and accounts. For that, refer NCERTs (Economics), TS Grewal (Accounts) OR ICAI study material for both. And for Paper I (common paper), finish your syllabus from online resources available on KZbin or buy a course. Books - Maths- Kiran publication for Previous year question Eng - book by neetu singh, word power made easy for vocabulary Reasoning- online youtube GK - regular newspaper, 1 year before exam cover monthly pdfs. For mocks - testbook, oliveboard Follow telegram group of RBE for exam related updates & pdfs.

You have good marks in tier 1. This year's mains pattern is changed so guessing cut offs is tricky. Don't let your marks fall below your current 80% mark in upcoming paper 1 (tier 2). For AAO paper, because others don't pay much attention to this paper, even 100+ bhi bohot Kam logo ke aate hai. To be sure of the job, try to do your best and in fact since you have time, try to push your limits and Target 140-150. Course maine lia nahi to compare nahi kar sakti ki waha kaisa padhaya ja raha h. Maine self study islie chuna tha kyunki main ek din me double time ( class + self study) nahi de pati last one month me & thoda bohot economics ka idea tha because of tier 1 so I was sure ki main khud se jyada tez speed me padh lungi. Agr tumhe bilkul bhi idea nhi hai to tum le sakte ho kisi teacher ki help. Jo bhi rasta choose Karo bas daily 1-2 ghante nikal Lena , minimum Ek bar revision before exam & PYQs ka 2-3 bar revise kar lena, ho jaega tumhara isi sal AAO. :)

Ye book ICAI (institute of chartered accountant of India) ke CPT (common proficiency test, jo unka tier 1 hota h) ke module ka part hai, iska particular author nahi hota hai. Ise ICAI or CA CPT ki book bolte hai, author name se nhi, exam & institute name se milegi.

Number of candidates qualifying in this depends on number of vacancies of AAOs in that year. 10-15 times of no of vacancies, are called to sit for the exam. Normal attendance in exam is 70-80% as per my experience in exam hall.

As I am getting so many queries regarding resources , here is my advice for new students - You basically need to cover - 1. Accounts - Class XI 2. Micro economics - Class XI 3. Macroeconomics - Class XII 4. Indian Economic Development - Class XII Any book/coaching note from where you are able to understand concepts & solve PYQs is a good resource to prepare for this paper. Some options- Accounts - NCERT/ CA CPT book/ TS Grewal book Economics - NCERT/ TR Jain book Any book that a Class XI or XII student uses, can be used for preparing the syllabus. Hindi Medium students - NCERT, TR jain book hindi me available hai. Baki books ka mujhe nahi pata hai. Utkarsh commerce classes par accounts ke lectures Hindi me mil jayenge.

Overall paper has 4 sub-subjects as mentioned in video. First two books will cover only 2 parts. For cost purposes, I said that last two books can be replaced by any other resource/book (macro economics & economic development) you like/have. If you don't have any other resource to study then you will need all 4 books. Plus few small topics online.

Agar paper I (tier 2) bohot strong hai, to isme 70-100 par bhi selection ho jata hai students ka. Agr paper 1 (tier 2) me average marks hai to isme maximum lane ka try Karna chahye. Logo ke 150 bhi aate hai, generally wo commerce ke hote hai but still that is also achievable.

Definitely, Hindi me kar sakte ho aap preparation. Class XI ki accounts, economics (micro economics) & Class XII ki dono economics (macro economics & Indian Economy), ye 4 books padhni hogi, sirf wahi topics Jo syllabus me hai. Jo books maine batai unka Hindi version hona chahye but agar na mile to NCERT se padh sakte ho. KZbin par accounts ke lectures Hindi me available hai. Eg. Utkarsh commerce classes, but wo bohot long hai, I would suggest ki jab koi topic book se na samjh aaye tabhi online search kar ke padhna.

Hello Kanhaiya, This year, the exam pattern has been changed so my marks will not help you directly. Nonetheless, here are my marks 141.6 (T1)+331(T2)+133.5(AAO) = 606.1 out of 800 (SC) Agar tum AAO target kar rahe ho, see previous year tier 1 cut off of your category and aim for a total, 10 marks more than that, so that kuch unexpected blunder ho to bhi cut off clear ho jaye. I aimed for 160, mock me 150-158 aa bhi rahe the but actual exam me time management bigad gaya & my raw marks were only 141. So, my advice would be to aim slightly higher than desired marks. All the best !!

Madam....I m frm ST category. My raw score is 131. Should I prepare for AAO or wait till the results ?? Plzzz suggest.....!!! is My score sufficient to clear prelims ??

If I compare it with last year's cut off then you will clear the cut off. So you can start preparing but don't give too much time on AAO now. If you are still in doubt then start with economics (120 marks), finish it before the result & prepare accounts after clearing the cut off.

@@jyotitomareducation9740 Madam....my AAO score is 420/590 in CGL22 mains from ST category. I want AAO(accounts) only ,I can't afford touring in long term....so I want AAA(accounts) only. And this time vacancies are also good. I am frm Telangana. Can get any South region states only. ? Is it ok AAO compare to other CGL posts in Southern state?? Plzz suggest madam ??
