Hello there my name Kalieb, Please are you still out there able? I really need help understand how to script, I’m screwing up really badly because once I try to do this, the AI no longer works. I am trying to make it so GLA will build 2 scud storms if they have the resources along with all generals, if command center gets blown up, the AI will rebuild their command center, I am also struggling with how to keep a anthrax gamma pool, endless loop outside the a chemical bunker, and then finally trying to make it so when the AI steals or captures a building, they don’t sell it. They use it. They were a Human player.

I've been tinkering with the AI since 2014 and this past year, I stopped trying to do the skirmish AI and set up a custom map instead. That allowed me to have a Special waypoint path as well as other spots for spy-drones and staging areas. Today, the AI beat me! I was mostly driving units to their death to see if the enemy units would react to area triggers, but then it got away from me and I was supply and dozer hunted.🤖

I hope one day the source code of Generals Zero Hour will be released. It will definitely grant the second chance to this game since EA is not interested in futher work

Good stuff. Would be great if it was possible to make AI replicate a real human build, with real timings, positions... So all of us noobs could have a chance to try counter almighty Excal's helix all-in for example) Of course there is no way to script units control like experts do, but still could be fun to have such training missions to learn how to build vs all-ins.

schade das das Video nur auf Englisch ist aber geil man lernt nie aus ^^ dann ist es ja auch möglich zb 10 Waffenhändler zu bauen und dort in allen Waffenhändlern tonnen weiße Einheiten bauen zu lassen die dich dann angreifen denn ich weiß das man mit den Produktionslisten tool das auch machen kann dann legt man ja fest wo er das Gebäude bauen soll nur leider geht das dann nicht mit den Teams die er in den Gebäuden bauen soll aber damit wie sie mir das gezeigt haben kann man ja die AI richtig groß bauen lassen geil Top👍

There’s an 11 year old tutorial by “FrugalGamers” where he very simply adds waypoints and Ai with much less scripting. hows his method different than this?
