Hang in there, it seems your people are fighting against Trump's insanity and it partly works. The muslim bans has been rejected by a court and the scientists can talk publicly again as well. That's always something.

Love your point of view. I too struggle with what I believe in my heart is right, and what is feasible and comfortable in my life. All we can do, is the best we can do. Be mindful, and compassionate, and remember that many small things, add up to very big things, if we all do it. Thank you for your beautiful videos. I'm so glad I found, and follow you on instagram😊

Stephanie Kilgast // PetitPlat they are such amazing flowers, it's so interesting how many of them have evolved symbiotic relationships with insects and other animals. Like the orchid that looks like a female bee to attract a male bee which tries to mate with the orchid and in the process picks up pollen then goes to another orchid and repeats the process thus pollinating the plant. Or the one that has a very long stem at the bottom of the flower so only a certain moth with a long tongue can drink nectar from it. I think they are just fascinating.

Wow, Stephanie, your miniature pitcher plant nepenthes is amazing! I just love watching you work on polymer clay! As I was watching you put that clear liquid into the pitcher plant, I wondered if a clear glue would work as well. What do you think? It is difficult to get liquid polymer clay where I live. Michael's doesn't carry that product.

Wonderful video! I visited Java back in October and definitely saw a lot of ferns of all types. They also use the young fern leaves to make a delicious salad! You could of course make a white phalaenopsis. And if you're up for a challenge you could try the wild Javanese edelweiss, which is endangered because it's being picked and sold to tourists :(

yes! on my list! it's the only plant on my list actually. I need more plants, and I find it quite difficult to find some. "cool" animals like tigers and orangutans are those who pop up all the time, I want to know more about birds, plants and possibly bugs. And thanks!

Amorphophallus titanum or Rafflesia arnoldii. They are both corpse flowers and pretty cool. On a less stinky note, Wijayakusuma flower, also know as Moon Flower, are a very pretty little flower.

Sorry I didn't watch the video all the way through when I wrote this, so the other things were just simple suggestions. By mechanical, I like to think of the dwarven spheres from Skyrim or the Chronosphere from The new Alice in wonderland movie. Probably hard to make in clay though.

I always have trouble wrapping clay around wire. It always slips around or falls off 😬
@stephanie.kilgast
@stephanie.kilgast 7 жыл бұрын
the twist helps, or (what I usually do) wrap it in paper tape (the one used for paint) but it adds thickness, so it's not working for all projects. Or you can use another clay that is more sticky, like BeeSputty for instance, although it's a little more fragile than polymer clay. (at least more fragile than fimo or cernit which are arguably extremely strong) that being said if you don't "play" with the finished objects, it should be of no issue.
