Hey folks! Just a quick tip for those in need of 2-inch ratchet straps: skip the truck stops! Their prices are insanely high-like, 400% more expensive. Seriously, I'm not exaggerating. Instead, plan a stop at Home Depot or Harbor Freight or Lowe's while you're at it. These places have same straps for way less. Truck stops might be convenient, but they're seriously overcharging. Remember, you’re working hard to earn that money, not to blow it on overpriced gear. Stay smart and keep more cash in your pocket! Safe travels!

Good job brother. Me personal I like better the straps with chains and hook I don't like those ones outside of the siderail, but you did everthing correct. Your load is going no where. Unless you take everyone out hahah

I'm a huge fan of your videos, I'll be joining the TMC family in about August, currently trying to make sure things are tight on the home front, before stepping out from under the financial security of working in industrial maintenance. I'm starting to notice many of the loads on the highway aren't as secure as you're method, just seen a metal load yesterday with out any front bracing (X Strap), and it was held down by straps 😮. You're a big help,(especially to a new guy like myself) keep the content coming Trucker and as always be safe. Hopefully I'll be able to meet you one day on the road or in one of the terminals

That depends on the type of home life that you want. If you're a local driver, it's fine. You'll be at home every day. If you're a regional or over the road (OTR) driver, you won't be at home very much.
