Throw your phone in a fire and use it your smoke signals

1) Root your phone 2) Install LineageOS (or some other that is available for your device) 3) Don't install Google services 4) Install F-droid and/or Aptoide or whatever you want 5) Install any needed app that isn't connected with google (firefox/opera/any other browser, free mail client, free nav app etc.) 6) If you use Firefox, than install Privacy Badger and uBlock/adBlock 7) Switch your default search engine to DuckDuckGo 8) Disable any tracking in your browser's settings 9) Enjoy. I just did it and I'm happy with faster and basically secured phone :) P.S. Don't forget about Facebook or any other sites that collect your data - Opera allows you to run messenger in browser, without the messenger app. Disable every permissions for opera except storage, just in case :) Edit: I know I'm late, but maybe it can help someone else :)

The bad news are smartphones such as Galaxy series only has the option to encrypt the SD but no internal. Also the feature to become one the internal and sd is disable on Galaxies.

I have Android 4.2.2 (Samsung Galaxy Mega 5.8 - Model 2013 ) and update it regularly. I want to do banking and stock market transactions but very sacred of security since the phone is old. I have installed Kaspersky, yet very skeptical to use it. At present I'm using laptop only because it has windows 8.1. But prefer to do it on mobile. I use a WIFI router connection. All these security is awesome, but the phone even with these security can be easily powered off, by holding the power button and selecting power off option. I'm having a Moto Z play device which has the exact same design and functioning of fingerprint and security as in the Moto G4 plus you were using in the video and such Google devices can be tracked in map lively using an app called "Find my device" developed by Google, you should check that out. That app will be rendered useless with the device switched off, as we clearly know, any person who would steal a device will first power off the device. Can you suggest a security app/setting that secures the Power Off option with the stock fingerprint integrated Pin/password/pattern protection like unlocking the device.
