How to Secure Your Front Door

Front entry doors are typically secured with a deadbolt and the screws for the deadbolt are usually only 1/2 inch which provide minimal protection from intruders. In this video, I will show you how I secured my front door to protect against intruders and storms. We add a reinforcement lock in addition to the deadbolt lock. Reinforcement locks add considerable protection for your front door, however, some of these can be harder to unlock than a deadbolt lock. Are you kidding me. It’s a glass door

Its' an impact-resistant glass door since I live near the ocean. It would be hard to break the glass but probably not impossible. I also have glass break sensors on my home alarm.
