Wow.... tennis shots are a lot easier to guess .... forehand, backhand, drop shot, lob, service, lift, slice etc.... quite visual ! Skating figure are almost as hard to guess as they are to execute 😇😂 Thanks a lot, ladies ☺

Даша прям на лету схватывает. Я попытался один прыжок без звука посмотреть, но очень сложно понять откуда прыжок начинается, не то что с зубца или ребра. Там все так на тоненького. Еще понравилось когда Даша нервничает, переходит на русский, а когда зашквал эмоций на испанский. А Наташа вверх концентрации, вроде ни разу не переключилась с английского. Спасибо за хорошее настроение! Вам тоже по больше хороших дней.

I usually recognite the Lutz by its entry. Because you need a lot of speed and height for a (clean) Lutz many skaters have a very long entry for the Lutz to build up speed. You can see the Lutz coming from far away just like the Axel.

As well as being really enjoyable, I found this very educational. I think the jumps are difficult to identify in real time for a novice. After I watched your clip I watched that skater called Malinin do a quadruple Axel! You also inspired me to read up about the jumps and throws and the examples you chose were very clear. Всё таки фигурное катание отличается от обычного спорта, это не только физическое превосходство, но и артистизм. I like a lot figure skating but as someone that never skated on ice it has always been really hard to identify jumps, this helped but honestly for the untrained eye is still difficult 😅

Вопрос: помню было несколько скандалов в фигурном катании, когда одна фигуристка катала программу без падений, а другая падала. Судьи по итогу засчитывали победу той фигуристке, что падала. Вы не могли бы раскрыть какие нюансы при судействе, как считаются очки и что вообще учитывается при исполнении номера или программы у фигуристов.
