You do know device setups very and very a lot. I did find where I can see the one password on my Google account. But for some reason I was never assigned a password for my other google account. So I bet I worked for 4 hours trying to reset my password in my other account. But since I got this device locked I was asked to type in my security pin so I can reset my password and made sure I put it in my list of passwords on an external drive.

The problem is with these methods is in Password Manager sometimes your saved password is listed there, sometimes it is not. Look at all the other comments here, people say there Google password is not there. It's the same thing on a laptop. I think it is a bug and defect in Chrome, and needs to be addressed. Chrome does not list all the saved passwords it has.

@@lauri1127 Wrong. There are saved passwords in there, that I chose to save, that Chrome will not display as saved. They still work when you visit the sites too, they will just not display in Password Manager. Have multiple instances of this, and other peoples comments here too.

If your gmail signs you in automatically, that means the phone saved the password somewhere. iPhones have keychain that stores all the passwords. Simply go into your gmail app, click on your account, pick security tab, pick password. The phone will ask you to put it in. Click on the password field and it will fill it automatically. Check show password box and ta-da! You’re welcome.
