Sound good man, solid tips with putting the key in at the end of the grid. Plenty of times I've worked on several projects and have gotten confused which key is which! Keep them coming!

Wow! This is so inspiring! I have two questions: 1) what's the process with the singer? I mean, does she come to your place to record all the vocals? Or if she records at her place, how can you make sure she's recording correctly? What about all those second vocals, are you the one that tell her to do those? 2) so you mix and master everything in Ableton? Because I know that others export the stems from Ableton and use for example Pro Tools to mix and master... What's the difference?

Thanks! I usually always work remote with singers. I hired her on Soundbetter.com. Usually I check out a singer's releases and also ask about their recording set-up before hiring them. I also make sure that they have recent and good reviews. I'll usually ask for Lead vocals, doubles, harmonies, and adlibs, and most singers know what that means. And yes I mix/master in Ableton. You can export the stems from Ableton and then put into another Ableton session or another DAW like Pro Tools. Sometimes it helps to manage a project better if you have a lot going on with automation and fx to bounce everything to new stems and then do a separate session just for mixing.

Whats the point, if you won't show how the instruments were synthesized.
