Well done Scholastica for this information, please from my experience before writing OSCE exam they asked for some documents and police report was among the documents so I will advise they do police report before travelling.

If you are not affected by NMCN verification brouhaha, then kindly go ahead with your self sponsorship. Opportunities abound if you pass your OSCE. However if your NMCN verification has expired, or you dont have at all, kindly suspend all self sponsorship plans till every verification wahala is sorted out. Best wishes!

No, although it will help your application it is not compulsory to have someone in the UK. If you have a good proof of ties to home, genuine reason for travelling, flight, accommodation, finance and everything sorted out then you shouldn't have any issues

i don't think so. As long as you submitted your letter of good standing when you were doing your license verification, you should be fine

That is a long time o, call Nmc uk and confirm if they need another one. in my opinion though, as long as you have passed ielts and cbt you should be fine

Since your verification was 2021, You need either Verification from NMCN or Character Reference from a UK employer. This same issue is keeping some of us from getting our NMC pins
