My Grandfather, a business owner, had family famous sayings. One of them was “Do, or communicate”. It’s okay to occasionally mess up or change plans, but you must communicate and always focus on doing what you said you would do.

"The common things are not just common anymore" - and it's the truth currently. My friend and I discussed how the world currently is losing its human feel and touch and if we realise that and build on it as a strategy in anything you do, Be it business, family, relationship, Academics etc. You will excel because it is a basic cheat code to survive and nobody is paying attention to it. Thanks Vusi.❤

My experience in sales training has taught me 1 thing..... Sales has nothing to do with how good your pitch is, how impactful the value proposition is, how tactfully you deal with your customer etc. Sales is just a numbers game at the end of the day, of all the ppl you pitch to, only 5-10% of them will most probably buy from you. You just have to keep pitching, and pitching, and pitching, and pitching..... Always be pitching. The more you pitch, the more you will sell, the more leads you get, the more you will pitch, that's all the matters over the long term. The moment you stop pitching, your sales career is over. Just never stop pitching, and take every rejection gracefully, that's the secret to success in sales 👍👍

Crazy, how I've always thought about pursuing someone as a sales pitch. You being the product. I began to liken rejection to a customer probably not being either interested in the product, can't afford it etc... And that's when you don't get hurt by being rejected. You are a product that not everyone will buy. You get rejected move on to the next customer. This can be applied in every sphere of life...

Very easy things to say… for example You are planning for something; you borrowed funds from another source, but things get delayed more than expected; we are upfront communicating with person, hey I need more time…. But it’s get keep delayed what we can do in this situation. We are telling the full facts; when people doesn’t get the stuff on-time, no matter what do you tells them, they don’t really care about your communication or trust.
