@@MeyTribe I wanted to let you know that I have searched long and hard for a platform that would act as merchant of record for my digital downloads sales (SVG cut files for paper crafters); the closest I could find was Lemon Squeezy. The platform was free to use and they would collect and remit US sales taxes as well as EU/VAT so you as the seller, do not need to worry about that. Their platform was free to use and they took a percentage + 50 cents, or something in that range, of each transaction (and, of course, there were Payhip/Stripe fees on top of that). However, at the time (over a year ago), their shop builder lacked a lot of customization and styling features; there was no way to categorize or put any products into a collection and the search functionality was useless because there was no way to tag anything. There was no blogging feature, and it appeared to be far more geared to sellers of SAAS products. Cool, but this was not going to work for me. Ultimately, I landed on Payhip, which I do really like. Payhip will handle the EU/VAT tax collections and remissions for you, however, they do not handle US state sales taxes; that's on you the seller. Unfortunately for me, I live in a state where sales tax collection and remission is required not only for physical products but digital as well, based on the buyer's address. 😱 They include a basic blogging feature, as well. Your video has led me to take a look at Fourth Wall and in my comparison of both, I can see Fourth Wall having an edge over Payhip with regards to Merchant of Record, plus the ability to do POD (which I haven't dabbled in whatsoever) and digital product sales, memberships, etc. all under one umbrella. Nice.

You can add one file per product with FW... But that file can either be individual pages in a zipped file. or just put them all in one PDF. You can also use a Payhip shop builder - based on what you need... there's a comparison video between the 2: kzbin.info/www/bejne/q3_baHSijteFn7s

YUP ! and not just for getting started, but also with not having to deal with each sale in terms of invoicing and taxes, they all come in as commission once a month as if it's from a marketplace like RB or S6.

I'm not sure I understand the question... If you make your own artwork, or source from licensed designers- there shouldn't be an issue.

It's a shop builder, not a marketplace. You need to bring your own traffic. (BTW, you also need to get your own traffic when you're on a marketplace, cause you might not get any traffic from a marketplace without selling first)

Why do you use FW for your store instead of Etsy where there are more people shopping?

You don't own your shops on Etsy, it's Etsy's shop. You can get banned for no reason, have money held for no reason, and it doesn't build a brand. I am using FW mostly for POD (works better for me than with Shopify and others, explained in great details in many videos), and digital items are just an added value. Etsy client base isn't a guarantee to make sales... Even on Etsy you need to do your own marketing... I just rather doing that without giving traffic to competitors :)

It's a shop builder, not a marketplace. You can sell whatever you want (just make sure it's legal :)) As for Night cafe- i have made some videos on them... as for DPI- you can't increase it. I would love to see a video comparing Payhip and Fourthwall. I started on Payhip after learning about it from you, but I have not been happy. In case you are interested in the reasons, here are a few: the allowed space for the logo is very tiny and looks just awful on a cell phone. There does not seem to be a solution. Emails generated to customers always say Payhip on them. This is not something I think should be happening. I noticed in this video that the email you received does not say Fourthwall on it, but instead has the name of your shop. That is what I want. I would love to have more options for "themes" for my store. I don't know if Fourthwall offers this or not. Payhip only allows embedded videos from KZbin and, I think, vimeo. I'm hoping Fourthwall has more options. Those are a few things that stopped me from further developing my Payhip store. I look forward to a video comparing the two!

1. I am def gonna have that video, probably this month :) 2. I am confused about the logo thing... I think mine is just fine with my shop meytribe.com on mobile. can't really help there without seeing the settings of your shop... (perhaps make that a question with screenshots in our FB group ? ) 3. emails to clients in what capacity ? (like, when?)- also, it shouldn't be an issue when you state that payhip is your shop builder. are you using your own domain with them or their subdomain ?? 4. Fourthwall has several themes with them, nothing fancy or crazy, and it's way more limiting than shopify or wordpress, but yeah, they have several themes. You can just sign up with my link and play around with different themes. note- the changes you make with individual pages are theme-bound, so when changing a theme, you lose these pages. 5. What kind of videos do you want to embed? Also, I think both payhip and FW have an option for HYML code- so you take the embed code from the video you want, and not the video link, and that should work!
