Look all good on the vid - the shoe bits all solid - the only thing I will add - I just setup my account - I had to use chat - it was not clear how to do it - I have used ebay 20 years - but never sold anything - not trivial - then setting shipping labels - also same deal - so many paths one can take - not discreet not black and white - i am waiting for call now on how to get this set. All I would add for folks is - if you don't have your ebay act set to sell - you need to find a good reference - up to date - and also once you have your account set - how to setup shipping. All good on the shoe stuff - you are pro - just the other stuff - for first timers - not so simple. Ebay online help - useless - really - among the most lite and un-helpful material I have ever encountered. Chat rep sent a link I would never have found to get acct setup and did not bother to tell me - dude - can I help you with shipping 'cause that is also complicated and poorly documented.

This shouldn’t happen with eBay authentication. I wouldn’t purchase high dollar shoes without that blue checkmark saying authenticity guarantee. Not worth the risk. If you can prove that the shoes are not authentic, you should be able to get your money back through filing a claim on eBay

Thanks for watching! It could be specific shoes you’re listing. I get told to delete listings from certain brands sometimes. Some hype shoes, some not. I just delete the ones they ask me to and move on. It’s dumb, but not worth losing my eBay account over

If you do free shipping you’ll input measurements when you purchase the label. If you do calculated or flat rate, you’ll need to make sure the accurate measurements are input before your item sells

Thanks for the great info! Just a few questions...1. Why did you price them so much lower than the $125.99 that sold if they were new without box as well? I know they're a larger size, but don't retailers price all sizes the same? Then you have to deduct from that because of free shipping. I just don't get why you're giving up so much potential profit, but you're the expert, so I'm sure there's a good reason. 2. Do you ever use FedEx? USPS is not an option for me, since I'm using pickup, and my local carrier loses packages constantly. FedEx will pick up - $4/package, though. Will go through your other videos - hope to start selling soon!

Supply and demand. The shoe game has changed a lot over the years. If you sort through sold comps, and bigger sizes (huge sizes) aren’t selling, you have to price more competitively or else your shoes will never sell. All sizes nowadays resell for different amounts. And I don’t ever choose fedex as my first option. I’ve had bad experiences with them, but if they were considerably cheaper I MAY consider them. I try to use usps and ups.

Thank you for the video. It is awesome. When shipping the shoes (with box) do you ship the shoes in the box and slap a label on that? or do you place the box/shoes into another box and ship them? or do you put the shoes/box in a polybag and ship it that way?

I covered this part in the vid! Haha no worries though. Always put the shoe box inside another box. Don’t slap a label on the shoe box itself. High end shoes especially. Low end shoes with no box, you can ship in a poly mailer if you’d like to.

One question that keeps bugging me, is how do you know to include the price of shipping into your title and offer free shipping , what if someone from across the country purchased ur shoes , I’m sure the rate wouldn’t be $7 like you paid for. Is this just a gamble ? Or do you just make a median price average up for shipping

When it comes to anything, the shipping cost is more about weight and package size. I have international shipping turned off. If I wanted to be super safe, I can punch a random address across the country into pirate ship and see how much it would cost to ship there. I plan on shipping to be $15 or less in most cases for shoes.

Doing all of it yourself will save you a bundle 💸 you can get boxes for free instead of paying for them. Plus, those stores charge more for shipping at the store than they do through eBay, pirate ship, etc. Use your resources and save your money. Your margins will thank you later 📈

I love shoes. You definitely have to enjoy what you’re doing, especially if it’s a side hustle. You don’t want it to feel like work 24/7. Aside from that. Shoes have always been collectible. They are more “sellable” than any inventory I own.

As a new seller without a store you may not be able to require immediate payment from the buyer, and your funds may be on hold a little longer. I use the basic store and my funds are pretty much available immediately

Not particularly. Some sizes are more common than others. Therefore there’s a bigger market for them. But sometimes there is a higher supply for those pairs to compensate for the demand. The numbers of each size released differ each time

eBay went to shit sold a $120 dollar shoe with there eBay guarantee and I got back 102 dollars like what losing profit here.

I laid out the fees for you in the vid. Don’t get it twisted though, eBay has to make money on your sales. At the end of the day, they give you the platform to sell on. I’m sure it would’ve been harder to sell your shoes without eBay
