Hi, You can use product variations for that or any Woocommerce product addons (there are many free ones) to add those fields. For example this one here allows you even add peicing for the selection wordpress.org/plugins/extra-product-options-for-woocommerce/

It is needed because what is sold on the website is not only events but also physical products.

How would you go about doing this? Sell tickets for an event, have the option to add more tickets for either child or adult and add as many tickets that are available and collect ages and names for each ticket and still be able to sell normal physical products as well.

1) create variations for every time slot. For example: Choose time 2pm / 4pm / 6pm 2) for every variation set stock. For example 2pm stock is 10, 4pm is 12 etc Let me know whether this is what you're looking for
