You seem like such a sweet person and very knowledgeable with this posh thing. Out of the blue I just got approved to have my first show, which is strange because I was told a month ago I had a way to go and they were only taking ambassadors at the moment. I’m not sure what happened but I’m am moving and need to sell a lot of brand new clothes with tags. I have thousands of purchases from top brand torrid and I need help. Here's the thing, there's no BAD time. People are creatures of habit, we usually relax the same way, the same time of day. Whether that is at night, early in the mornings, our lunch hour or at night before bed. So there is always an audience. But finding what interests those up at that time is the challenge, so whatever you're offering; you want to build a set of friends that watch at that time. Poshers in auctions get social. Those with conversations amongst people in the chat are the most watched, have the most repeat watchers, and develop friendships. No matter what time, foster that. It is exactly why no matter the $3 starts, silent shows have no dedicated followings. There's zero interaction. People are looking for connection. Foster that by engaging them, where are they from, weather, kids, jobs, what have you. As far as the time and day there are so so many all the time now that day doesn't matter. Early early, 5-6am has the least competition. thanks, Dawn-Marie

I’m a Poshmark ambassador and I didn’t accept the offer to do live shows as I haven’t done it before and quite hesitant about it and now I wanted to jump in but Poshmark says it’s live shows are overloaded and will accept new applications later on! My sales plummeted after the live shows and after NAVER acquired Poshmark!

Hi there. We had the same experience before beginning but after training. PM Must b the one to schedule ur FIRST show. After ur 1st show, THEN u r free to schedule at will.😁 I suggest you watch many shows with the same inventory as u intend to auction. Try all times, n days in ur niche. Also, look for ways people engage with the poshers, in comments, n #'s of viewers as high as possible.😍 DawnMarie

You taught me how to figure sellers number systems. I watched a show last night the seller kept saying what numbers do you guys want to see but I’m like where do these numbers come from ( the file on the live show, showing numbers) also absolutely correct on buyer determines what they want to buy wand what they are willing to spend I was watching a show and the seller said “ oh no I can’t do $8 on that lowest I can offer is $14” I wondered after that comment how many people left the show ( I did) maybe she doesn’t have enough inventory yet? I'm sure you'll be great! Especially with some of the new features that were announced today! Right now, the work around is to create a new generic listing for the buyer to purchase. Add the total of all the items and mark the listing at that price. Then have them purchase that listing. Once the sale goes through and shows that it was sold, then you can cancel out the individual items won. I know Posh is working on bundling, so we don't have to do it ourselves. :) xx -L

How do you change the listings in your closet to 777 so that the potential buyer does not see the price(s)? Hi! I have another device open and check to make sure the sale shows up under "My Sales" during the live show. I'll click refresh if it doesn't pop up within a few seconds. I've seen others have their email open, and they wait until the sold email pops up. Whatever works best for you! :) xx -L

Also, I haven't seen anyone else do it yet or I'd direct u there. We have footage of the screens u will see when adding to an auction. In fact we have a fair AMT of footage, n little time to edit and post, both of us. I will say that shows are an incredible amount of work in order to have all the info accessible for ur auction. BRAND, SIZE, START BID, if time permits but preferably add MEASUREMENTS. These are all followed by ur description of the items features n details. We write these few facts for ea item and have it attached to the back. So while u wait. Group things in sets of 50 and consider moderating for other live sellers u know. ENGAGE with the comments poshers and try to begin chats. These are the purchase info details and the skills that will help u more than just what buttons to click, promise 😉 DawnMarie 💗

GO FOR IT!! IT'S FUN 😁 And effective 😉 Posh sent the initial beta group to those that had attended Posh Fest the previous 2 yrs prior. But 2 days before the close of applications for the group Posh offered EVERYONE ELSE the opportunity to get approved n be included. Looks like most people missed the banner on the feed, but it was open application. But you can sign up on the blog n get on the waiting list. 😉❤️

Hear that, but if u watch shows u will notice how ppl better go from the side when able. Still whatever device, ipad or phone is recording is the input for where the buttons to pin n start the auction r and where u will need to be clicking. This makes an iPad in a tripod the best most stable choice. The picture is NOT grainy at all, and the phone is where u can ck ur closet or ur desktop if it's near u. I login to my other posh closet on my laptop to view as the poshers see. With a smart tv u can screen cast it from the laptop to ur TV, making it much easier to read the comments! DM

So average price is around $13 each? I dont have anything of that price nor do I want to sell that low. thats why Im not interested.. seems like people expect you to sell great items at rockbottom prices and that doesnt fall into my biz plan. I am glad its working for you. Good luck! :)

Yes, my net was around $13.50 per piece for the first two shows. So it sold for around $17 per item before Posh took their 20%. The majority of those sales were from women's tops. So, definitely depending on your inventory, your price point would change! I was okay with a $13+ net per piece. I think it's about feeling like you're getting more of a deal during auction, otherwise people can buy it now. And BIN people want to feel like they're getting a deal vs retail. But people are willing to pay more for higher priced items during auction! For instance, hand bags etc. Thank you for watching and hope you'll try a live show one day!! :) xx -L

They haven't started beta testing live shows here yet, but I've attended 3 live shows on WhatNot and bought 2 things from 1 show. On the Posh live shows, can you auction items that aren't in your closet? I'm really eager to do Posh live shows, even just as an experiment. I wonder if I can be successful tho. I only have 34K followers. Poshmark is the only platform I sell on and I've only been doing this for about 2 years now. I don't have a KZbin channel and don't have separate social media accounts for my reselling stuff. So do you think I need to build a bigger following and customer base first?

Hi!! So as of now (Oct 2022), you do not have the ability to add items during the show. However, you're able to go items that aren't listed by having a sort of 'free for all' listing. If you look in my closet and go to sold items, you'll see listings that say "Mystery Item". I created a generic "mystery item" listing so I could show items that weren't listed in my closet and still sell them. Just make sure to number them, so you don't get things mixed up. It's easy to do when you have 50 items with no pictures to refer back to!! You definitely don't need a lot of followers to do live shows! People jump in and out of shows all day, so as long as you're doing a show, people will join. Hope this helps!! :) xx -L
