To solve authentication failed exception who are using Gmail Go to My Account -> Apps with account access-> Allow less secure apps:ON enable This changes worked for me.

Hello, I downloaded the jars from the email website, imported in a normal project and when I tried to run, I got the following error: Exception in thread "main" java.lang.Error: Unresolved compilation problems: The type javax.mail.Authenticator cannot be resolved. It is indirectly referenced from required .class files The method setAuthenticator(Authenticator) from the type Email refers to the missing type Authenticator For other people that encounter the above error: The solution is to import also a specific external javax.mail.jar file from here javaee.github.io/javamail/ Good luck :)

Hi Sugam, if you are using company SMTP server then you can try configuring proxy as well.
