Once the letter writer has uploaded/sent it to Interfolio and we complete this process exactly as you've shown, does the letter writer have to send/do anything else or is this process/ the rest after they send the letter to Interfolio strictly between AACOMAS and Interfolio?

No other action is needed from you or your letter writer. Give AACOMAS couple days and it will have a green check mark next to the LOR name under Evaluations. From what I can remember, it was 3-4 days.

Hi Bryan, it's been a while since I used interfolio so I am not completely sure about this answer, but from what I remember, I think you can still do the "email thingy" and interfolio will send the letter once it is uploaded. But I could be grossly wrong lol. Best to call Interfolio and ask about that.

AAACOMAS now has a survey form for recommenders to fill out along with the letters, but using Interfolio we are only submitting the letters, not the survey form. So is using Interfolio still okay?

Hi Sam, I did not know about the survey forms. I used Interfolio last cycle and it worked out for me thankfully. I would recommend asking the individual school directly and see what they say about Interfolio. If I had known that there is a survey out there, then I would have made sure that using Interfolio is ok before resorting to that. From what I could tell though (purely my opinion here), mcat & gpa lands you the interview. The interview is to check on your personality. I think rest of the application is important, but not as important as people hype it up to be.

I followed this exact procedure for the AMCAS application a few weeks ago when I submitted my application, but as of now AMCAS still says the letters were not received. Do you know if it is sufficient, or will I need to re-submit using the "Find an opportunity" button that you mentioned? Please and thank you for your help!

@@monsebabyy oh ok. This should work for your grad school applications too. Just have your recommenders upload it to interfolio and then you can enter the email address like I showed in the video for the grad school application.
