Honest question: If you’re a producer sending to other producers and they decided to use your work how does credit go? Will they ask you to complete the beat or will they do it and will you be in song credits?

terms ? what if its a sample you can't make someone have terms for something you don't own. Are your loops without samples on distrokid or some kind of tracking software ? how does it work with labels tracking who originally made the loop and producers selling the loop they chopped ?

Bro to be completely honest we’re not sure what the process is when sending out sampled loops to other producers, everything we make is from scratch so we own full rights to the loops, and we don’t have anything tracking our own loops/samples we make so just like a lot of other things in the music industry it comes down to trusting that no one will steal or resell your own samples

we never send our tag or terms and conditions. simply say 50/50 - beatstars ‘___’ . And then if people ask for your tag you can send it to them. That’s how we do it

I guess in a lot of cases, sending terms come across as spammy and bot-like. Since uploading this video we would recommend just putting your beatstars and instagram handle along with the loops. So people end up using your loops can add you as a collaborator and find you on instagram

No bro we have lots of people that use our same loops, the only reason we wouldn't send a loop to multiple people is if it was a exclusive deal with a label or artist!

What's the purpose of the email campaign bro? Like what's the advantage of using mail tracker rather than just raw email with the BCC which obvs allows you to send to multiple people while hiding their emails

Two downsides to BCCing is that people can see that the email was ‘BCCed’ which from our experience results to people not opening future emails which will end up with your future stuff in spam. We have seen some people still use this but we just prefer to use mailtrack

Great Video! Just wanted to know how do you prevent someone stealing your loops? I know you mentioned (terms) in the vid but if you could go in depth on what the terms actually are or do would appreaciate it.

In the end you will never have 100% control of people stealing your loops from doing packs. However having clear terms with your beatstars name, splits, contact information is just another thing that's going to reduce your chance of loops getting stolen/ripped and not getting credit + splits where you should be!

Good question bro, with this method of sending loops you rely on the fact that the producers who use your loops will add you as a collaborator on beatstars so you can get your split whenever a beat sale is made. Alternatively you have to trust the fact that if a producer makes a sale with your loop outside of beatstars, that they will pay you. So a lot of it comes down to trust, however you just gotta stay on the grind no matter what. Thanks for the support bro🙏🏽

Btw, if it is just you that made the loop it is expected that you would split the sale 50/50 with the producer, however it may be good to clarify that in the email!

There’s a couple reasons people won’t be using your loops, they’re not good enough, theyre not the right type of loops for the beats that they want to make, your emails are in spam, or you haven’t built a connection with them in some way. This video is just our best advice to sending out loops, it can take a while to get all these things in check so you’ve got to just keep trying to get better at music, grow your brand and build connections, this will heavily increase your chance of people opening and using your emails

SInce uploading this video we wouldn't recommend sending terms in your emails in most cases, but if you still want to use terms keep it simple. Establish that anything needs to be cleared with you first, 50/50 splits, your beatstars name. We would recommend you only use terms in sample packs now though!

We also point out how important it is to research your niche and who you send to, so that you’re sending the right loops to the right people. Finally we tell the viewers why they should be sending MP3s so that they aren’t blowing up other producers emails. No one who followed the steps in this video are going to be doing any of the things you’ve mentioned,
