Great walkthrough, thanks! For those who are still confused about whether Wise works in Pakistan or not, it depends on what "works" means here. 1. You could send/transfer money to someone in Pakistan (as shown in the video) 2. You can open individual accounts from Pakistan but multicurrency accounts are no longer offered (new accounts won't have USD, GBP, .etc) so they are not that useful 3. If you have a business account where the business is incorporated in the US but trading address is of Pakistan then you will no longer be able to use USD accounts 4. Wise debit cards are not available in Pakistan

THANKS, I can see a number of transfer methods while making a transfer. Can you explain them in the other videos. Also I want to do a transaction as its coming directly from US so I can avail tax exemptions. Right now I am using debit which comes very quickly but its wise doing local bank transfer from a local account which makes our money subject to tax. Thank you

Thank you for creating this video. I am a freelancer from Pakistan, and I opened an account a few months ago. Most of my clients are from the USA and Canada. However, I am unable to find any options for managing payments or receiving money, so Wise is still not usable for me. I can't send any fund requests or attach my bank account. Please make these features available in Pakistan as soon as possible, or otherwise, I'm forced to use other services.

Hence if the money comes from your Wise business account, you won't be able to send it to your local bank account. As an alternative, you can send the money to an external account outside of Pakistan in a different currency. Hey there, thanks for reaching out. As long as TikTok's allows you to enter your Wise account details, you should be able to receive your Creator Payout into your Wise account. With that said, you can only send money to your Wise account details, if the payout matches the name on your Wise account. So, you wouldn't be able to receive money to your Wise account from other peoples Tiktok Creator Payouts. When receiving money to your Wise account, most payment types are free to receive with a few exceptions. Wow, I have never seen a company do this A KZbin channel and announcing your new features is just awesome, but. I have a question. I signed up on wise like two to three weeks ago and it clearly stated that I cannot receive funds, but I can send funds if I'm in Pakistan Is that changed now? Cause even now, if I log into my wise account, it only gives me the option to send money and there's no option to receive money. Hi there! Thanks for the shout out. To answer your question, at this time, customers in Pakistan can only send money since balances aren't eligible there yet. Because the balances feature is not yet available, customers can't receive and hold money into their Wise account. However, as an alternative to receive money, you can mark your external bank account as a primary account on your Wise account, meaning when another Wise user sends you money, you'll receive it directly into your external bank account.
