Thank you for clarifying this concept. I have always been curious about space when he talks about it.

Thanks, this is helpful. I try to imagine myself in space (without looking down on Earth as it makes me feel nauseous!)

Yes, I love that feeling of just being enveloped by space, the galaxies, the stars!

I have no problem sensing space but in several of his meditations (the 'breaking the habit') he talks about sensing the volume/density of space that your ears/jaw/eyes/shoulders etc occupy in space". So do I focus on the body parts in this case? But then arent his meditations about opening you mind? In this case why would I focus on 1 specific body part? What's the difference between space around ears and beyond ears? Or focus on your throat in space... Im so cofused.

Basically what he means is to focus on the SPACE you are taking up. So when he says sense your throat in space, it's more getting you to understand and feel that there is no such thing as empty space. Your ears and the space beyond your ears is also energy, if that makes sense. So it's about coming back into your body, and letting it all melt into space. He is getting us to FEEL the energy of everything.
