How to SEPARATE Transmission from Transfer Case (EASY) | 1947 CJ2A Willys Jeep

Instructional video on how to separate a T-90 Transmission and Dana 18 (D18) Transfer Case from one another. It requires a crow bar to hold one end of the drivetrain while a breaker bar is used to unloosen the nut. During the harsh winter months in Canada we decided to take the Willys apart, fix a few parts, and get it back on the road. Then repeat this the next winter. During the winter of 2021 we rebuilt the brakes and basic engine upgrades (spark plugs, water pump, distributor, ignition coil, etc.). THIS winter of 2022 we are tackling to replace the transmission and transfercase but finding lots of other problems deep within the engine. Do you know what the tourque spec on this nut is for re install?

were you to put the transmission in 1st and 3rd gear (you can do that with the top off) wouldn't that be easier than putting a bar in the output yoke?
