How to Sequence on Motif XF8

Can u show us how to make our own drum kits because Im trying to get a 2000s Pop/R&B Drum Kit but the ones on the motif dont have that specific one but it has some drums they are just spread out. Or maybe I just havent looked close enough.

Good question. I never thought of that. Great idea - but not sure how to pull it off! I have not dabbled that far bro. The most I have done is create a specific pattern using multiple drum kits and create that one groove I am looking for. Have you tried that? Work on a pattern and then record that to your DAW? When it comes to drum kits, sometimes I go the VST route (Spectrasonics Stylus RMX - www.spectrasonics.net/products/stylusrmx-lib.php ) or I record each piece one at a time on my DAW from the Motif. I'm also a prolific drum loop collector, so if I am unable to get what I need, I hire a drummer too for a solid live feel.

Hey Phil ! I can't for the life of me figure out how to switch sections in voice/pattern mode on the fly. I want to manually switch sections WITHOUT it jumping mid section Do you know what I mean?
