there is a spool grease cap, a spool tensioner button for drag and a click mechanism on the handle side

Hi Dennis...on an old Pflueger Supreme (likely any reel) if the levelwind line guide stops and jams the crank, and won't go back the other way, is that a pall issue? I opened the carrier and if there is a pall in there, it's well stuck! The line guide travels very smoothly from left to right and vice verse...fwd crank til it stops then reverse crank til it stops etc, etc, etc.

It is either a dirty or damaged pawl or the track in the worm gear is filled with dirt or debris and that does not allow the pawl to travel to the end and turn around. Check both - Dennis

@@2ndChanceTackle The worm gear appears very clean and I can't access the pawl...it's stuck in the carrier if it's there at all. So, I'm just gonna tag the reel and put it on my shelf of 'display reels'. As always, thanks for the answer!
