Your excellent video inspired me to service my yari. All others I've seen have bad lighting and camera angles and the narrator talks too much and usually not clearly. This was just what I was looking. Great job.

Service starts at 1:14 if you took the fork off the bike already. Thanks for watching!

I’d advise supporting the bars better to remove the risk of buckling one of the hydraulic hoses. Super clear video, thanks 🎉🎉🎉

Nice, but just a note; the damper side should be in the full open/fast setting when removing the lowers. From the service PDF: “Turn the rebound adjuster knob counter-clockwise until it stops. This is the full open/fast rebound setting.” Not a big deal if you’re just doing the 50hr service though.

Getting ready to take apart my fork now. Dude, you have got to get rid 9f the kmc chain and switch to an xt if you can. I was having all kinds of weird cogging issues with the kmc and the xt chain is smooth as butter. It makes an enormous difference on long climbs. Not sure 8f I stretched my kmc early on or what but wow what a difference

Heard about the kmc chain sucking. Its super clunky but works. I will definitely look into Shimano chains when mine stretches more. Thanks!

This video kinda wanna makes me wanna try it on my own. I don't wanna say it is simple but it looks doable to me if I'd follow you step by step. My Yari sadly has like 5-7mm of soft/broken travel in the very beginning. I just need to lean onto the bars and it goes down already. After that its normal again. Do you think such a service could fix it with the right tools and oils?

Hi mate did you upgrade your Yari with the debonair c1, reduce spacers etc?
@Kaedenfu2 жыл бұрын
It already has the c1 air spring. When I owned the bike, I had 2 spacers in it and ran around 27 sag. It felt pretty good until I rode a fox 36 with the fit grip damper.

Have you added anything to this fork?
@Kaedenfu3 жыл бұрын
Nothing yet. Bought skf seals which are suppose to make the fork go through the travel more smooth. Thanks for watching!

What kind of rear shock are you using? And is it the 29er?
@Kaedenfu3 жыл бұрын
Sorry for the late response, never got a notification you commented. The rear shock is a Marzocchi Bomber Cr, and the bike is a full 29 set-up. I actually sold this bike, due to issue with pivots and reliability stuff surrounding the frame. Thanks for watching! hi, is the rearshock bomber for sale?😁
@Eriestdoor2 жыл бұрын
wait why would you service a fork after 50 hours? thats like 1 week of riding
@Kaedenfu2 жыл бұрын
It’s just what RockShox recommends. I’m sure many don’t follow it but the earlier the better.
