Hi Bjorn...I just want to thank you for those amazing and helpful videos....Is there a way to edit the widgets on the right side ? like the background colour of the widget and other settings? Thanks again..

You're welcome, I'm happy to help! Some widgets offer settings for changing the background color, but most don't. So if you're not using page builder, your best bet is to use CSS to change the background color of yoru sidebar widgets. If you're using Elementor or another page builder to create the sidebar then you can change the background color of the sidebar with Elementor settings.

ciao thank you for this video, is it possible to modify the blog page shown in this video? if for example I did not want the articles one below the other but arranged in a grid of two columns, how could this be done?
@wplearninglab Жыл бұрын
You sure can! There are two main ways and they depend on how your site is built. One is using page builders. If your site has a page builder that lets you create archive templates then you can use it to create the exact blog post layout that you want and save it as a template just for the blog page. This video shows the process with Elementor: kzbin.info/www/bejne/j6Gre3qFYpaHeK8 On the other hand, if you're not using Elementor, then your theme may have grid options for your blog page. To find out, log into your WP Dashboard, hover over Appearance and click on "Customize". Following that, click "Blog" to see all the blog layout options built into your theme. Not all themes have these options though. I hope one of those methods works for you!

@@wplearninglab hello, thank you very much for your reply, I'll definitely check out the link you suggested, also because I'm thinking of using Elementor. I'm looking into how something like this can be done, as I'm thinking of starting a site using 10web, so with the opportunity to create pages imitating the style and layout of some pages taken from other sites (obviously then modifying them). I've also seen other videos on your channel about 10web and thank you for these too, but I don't know if I can make the blog look the same as the pages 'imitated' by 10web. I would like to see a video on 10web where, once you have imitated a page for the homepage of a site, you can do the same for the general page of the blog, as well as the individual post.

Wordpress didn't fill in my blog post stuffing. Did I miss a step? I created the blog page and added it to the menu but its nothing on the page but the word blog when I go to it.

Same.

Thanks for this. But it would have been better if you also shown posting blogs at least 3 blog posts. Not to cut it and shown the blogs on the page already. But thanks again.

Thanks for your feedback. I'll incorporate that in an updated video.
