How to set a gsxr 600, 750, 1000 shift light

Just picked up an 07 600 and got it on the first try, thanks man!! I did have a question while setting the shift light I noticed you can change what looks like oil cans from 1-5. What is that?? My bike didn't come with a manual and google hasn't helped.

@Supratt88 i figured it out after about a half hour of nothing but pressing buttons... i held down the bottom left and right button both for like 15 seconds and then tap the top left button to change the hour then i think you tap the bottom left to switch to minutes and then start tappin the top left again (i forget the names of each button off the top of my head)... but this is all from the couch and i'd have to check to make sure

on the 06 1000 you change into kph just by holding function... no need to hold select... and to change the time you hold both...

It's actually small circles. You can have 1-5 of them. I think it may be the brightness of the shift light. Haven't tried it yet, what do you guys think?

This took me an hour to figure out lol. They certainly could of made it more user friendly. I found that I'd only ntoice the light in the dark anyway so it's a gimmick really.

Its the same thing. I have k6 600 and its the same process. So when you did that your light is off so thats why it didnt flash so you need to do... 1)press the select button and hold it for 5 sec 2)release and if you dont see it flashing... press the top button and it will light up and press the top button again and it will flash.. the rest just finish watching the video. Hope I helped someone out there

I actually dont believe its possible....but...My buddy Ryan just taught me what he does tho....just reset your trip miles a few times....see a range on when you go from full, to gas light coming on....then go a little further each time, that way you learn a "range" that you know you can go 9nce your gas light comes on.
