please dont get miffed., but there is a much easier way. cut 2 peices of wood ,nail them using 3,4,5, . place 3 bricks inside wood and cut bricks corner to corner bottom to left. then place 3 bricks in wood and cut bottom to right corner . usin all of the cuts place on floor along a straight line llongest cut 2nd longest cut and little triangle underneath. do this several times . build bwk either side of herring bone pannel. line on 2 courses up . find centre of wall and give 5mm either side lay triangulated bricks working out to sides cut side bricks .line up 2 and repeat. will build a 1m x 900mm panel in hour or less . all the best BEN

Just watched it, also saw that Rodian and Crompton use that method, nothing wrong with it I just think my way is a lot quicker also difficult setting out dry with rustic bricks which will wobble about.I would just find my centre lay my first triangle to it and just build it doing the side cuts as I go.

@@bricklayersworldwithandy6277 Charlie Collison said that as well, and it was a lightbulb moment for me. He said (when on a price per/1000) that bricklaying is the only job where the more complicated something is, the less you get paid to do it (or something close to that). Crazy.
