Hopefully this is a hint that helps: you don't need to run the lights for the full cycle every day if it doesn't fit your schedule. The plants will grow slower than with the full cycle, but as long as they're getting some hours of light a day, they'll continue to grow. Just turn them off with the light button when you're done for the day and it'll turn back on whenever you have set for it to come on each day.

Is there a shorter light cycle so when you’ve reached maximum height you can set it to a bloom cycle (shorter light hours) so the tomatoes stop going crazy and out-of-control and can actually grow fruit

My unit don't have the area to select the time. I am growing herbs. After 17 hours should I turn my AeroGarden off. How long should I wait to turn it back on. I have no problem with the light. I have the unit in my kitchen on another floor.

I don’t have counter space on the kitchen counter so it’s on a small table but was still to bright day or night so I put a open fedex box surrounding it My question do any plants need to be pollinated if so how does that work past pollinating with a qtip

I've done it with a Q-Tip when I was pollinating peppers in my Aerogarden.

Good question! No, the light is an LED so doesn't create a lot of heat. It is REALLY bright though. Thanks for watching!

You sure could! The built in light provides all the light you need to grow. You will want to make sure that your garage is heated in the winter if you are planning to grow all year with the AeroGarden though. Thanks for watching!

I think as plants get tall you raise the light, otherwise will get to hot for plants
