This has worked for me on my samsung galaxy smartwatch 4 classic system version 13 with the newest update, but only for ringtone how so i get it to work for notification? Update: I just copied the mp3 file from ringtone into notification using file manager powered off then powered on my watch and it works 😅😊 If you guys want help let me know😊

If you set your coustom tone whatever file or song/tone you want to the ones displayed in settings such as change a rap song to the chirp sound in watch in the file manager app before copying and sharing it to the folder it will work but you'll have to find what songs are what because they will me misnamed. I know it's weird but it worked for me. My chirp notification is Ti, my ringtone is too. Idk if this helps but it's worth a shot I may upload a video on how to do it because I'm making it sound harder than it really is. Great content and video explaining it. More people need to. Also I have theATT LTE version watch 4. Idk if that makes a difference.

Go through with everything he had on video. Instead of selecting the tone through the watch, go to your watch settings in the app on your phone and go to ringtone/notification sounds and check each tone until you find your custom sound. It tried this for my samsung watch 6, i can add my song into the ringtone folder but it doesnt replace any of the others. Ive picked the song i want to use but its keeps ringing with one of the preloaded ones, its very confusing

Sometimes i really want to know, why Samsung or Android even makes it so much complicated to have the own ringtones added to the phones or wearables... Is that a licence-problem or are they only dumb-asses?

Probably because they are being pedantic and artificially limiting the features to "line up" with watch usability. Don't get me wrong samsung watches are incredibly useful in ways a smartphone isn't, but why not enable the full Android experience outside of the wearOS skin for fun shits and giggles?

Idk why samsung disabled that I had samsung watch active 2 you only transfer the songs in to the watch and you put it as a ringtone now watch 5 doesn't have that wow that was annoying and I try this method and it didn't work on me idk I guess I have to stick with ugly tones 😂
