My plug was in the opposite way, which I didn't catch at first. It didn't work until I noticed the center hole lined up with what you were calling position 5. I reversed everything, mounted the switch below the manual coin return level and now I have coinless vending from my Vendo. Thank you so much!

Hi, thanks for the video, it is really helpful. I have one question... is your vending machine only having a coin mesh and a vend relay, right ? I mean, it does not have any vend controller board at all. Do you know how long do you need to push the switch you made ? I mean, I will do the same but automatically via a microcontroller and a relay so wondering how long do the relay be energized to allow the selection panel. Thanks!

Hi I have a similar machine with a newer coinco changer . it is working. The machine this week started not dispensing pop. It will take the money, you can hear it click, but it will not engage the solenoid will not activate tyo drop the pop. any solution?

Hello I just bought a similar machine. And I'm trying to get the coins to hold so it would be a working machine. So I can charge for the sodas. But its not keeping the change like it was converted to a home one how do I change it back

I wired it to bypass, but when I push the bypass switch is automatically vends soda from #3 spot (dr. pepper). It doesn't even require me to push a vending button. Any ideas?

wire rated for 110 volts, as the coin mech uses 110 volts, so be sure to use any wire that can handle 110 volts AC, because if you don't, bad things can happen.

This type of older vending machine (all jones plug machines) do not have any control board, and are also known as "single price" machines because the price is set with the coin mech and does not talk to the machine at all.

A button or switch is required every time you want a soda, it replaces the “enough money has been deposited” pulse. You can use any button or switch, I just felt it was most convenient down there.

hardcorestuff I would check Craigslist, thrift stores, or just look around, I paid $50 for this machine at a charity business, but they listed it for $100, but just go on Craigslist, and you may have to travel as we went about 50 miles, but it isn't like buying an iPhone or something that everybody is selling, it took me about a year to get a machine, but it depends. Here are two of my biggest tips for you: 1) Never go on eBay as the machines are overpriced or far away 2) Negotiation is the best way to get anything, don't be afraid to negotiate! With that said, Good Luck!

drive around town at 245 am, when nobody but the drunks are out, look at some of the closed gas stations,they usually have a coke machine out front, just unplug it and have a couple friends help you load it into the back of your truck, thats the way to do it, just dont get caught,,of course im joking but i bet there are some that will really do that,

Older machines all are pretty much replaced at stores.They put newer machines in front.Which are most likely cheat an hack proof.Also stores have security cameras watching you outside.Most of time if look around will spot the cameras.Ours at Walmart is also on a stop light pole.Pointing toward the store and traffic.And some states have cameras all over towns.
