There is only one set of lights but multiple inputs on the board. Is each one supposed to go separately and gain adjusted individually? We don't have sound check at our church. We adjust as we go. Our regular sound guy told me to stay away from gain but recently I was doing sound and this sound guy told me to adjust gains. I did so but it was to my choice. It was not to the lights which of course were responding to all of those who were speaking or singing. I had to put gain up just before feedback for one your lady who does not like to hold the microphone close to her mouth. Bye the way, how do you communicate to the singers and speakers that they need to be near to the microphone? How close to the microphone do you suggest? Thank you.
