I'm citing this video in sports psych class project I'm doing. Learned more about goal setting in this 15min video vs an entire college lecture on it. Thanks!

I was at the range today. Didn’t use a timer because I knew none of my times would be “fast” and didn’t think keeping time would be relevant. But this helps me see the timer as a tool for improvement. Keep up the great content.

Thank you so much for these videos. I’m new to your channel and also shooting. My first ar 15 is a 16 inch BCM with SOLGW bcg, running Iron sights. I feel very confident learning from you. Best regards.!

Did he just give a reason and why to "slow is smooth, smooth is fast?" slow = process smooth = performance fast = outcome.

Are there set standards out there for new shooters? Where should I even begin to set my goals as someone new to firearms

Pick a drill I like the 10-10-10 simply because my local range only lets you put pistol targets at 10yds. No closer, no further It's 10 shots, from 10 yards, in 10 seconds. Your target (by standard) should be a NRA B-8. From there you can tailor it to your needs/level. Starting out you may just want 10 hits on paper. As you progress put all 10 in the black. Progress further put them in the 9 ring. Progress further; shorten the par time or add a magazine change.
