It's spooky having squirrels in the attic. Luckily we found where they were getting in and fixed it. So cute asking the squirrel if he wanted to go for a ride. 😊 Thanks for your videos and your positive energy!

We have the same trap from the same company and it works very well. We live in the suburbs, lots of trees around and lots of squirrels. But we talked to our local county animal control and they said it was Ok to trap them with that kind of trap and release in the wild or at a nature center which is what we do. It won't eliminate all of them but we have to try to cut down on the number of them or they will just eat tomatoes, apples, melons and anything else. Often they will take one bite out of something and leave it to spoil. You can also trap rabbits in them. We got the medium size so large animals like raccoons can't get in it (they can be trapped but much more aggressive and hard to deal with). We have to buy net bags to put over our small apple trees too. Those help, they will try to still gnaw through the netting but most of the time can't do too much damage.

Nice. I have caught cats,(and usually adopted them), but I did get a possum by mistake. It's kind of you to trap the squirrels without harming them.

My dad trapped two kittens and their momma in a trap like that. This was 12 years ago. We tried to find a rescue to take them but all the rescues were full. They have been my kitties now for 12 years.

Have trapped several possums with a similar trap. Have a smaller one for chipmunks. Actually even caught a bird in the small one! LoL. Did get a surprise one morning with the large trap. I could see the door had dropped on the trap. But in further inspection, found out it was a skunk!! Cost me $150 to have a company come out and remove it. He did bring my trap back later.

The guy who brings a trap to my yard uses peanut butter and large marshmallows. I have a raccoon problem.

Do marshmallows work? Someone tried that when my daughter had skunk problems, and caught nothing.

He puts several marshmallows coated with peanut butter in the cage. I have caught 2 adults and a younger one.
