thanks great video. very little tutorial about this. thought it was the "phone security" code but this didnt lock the phone so what is it for? theres also the sim security code to access the sim. so many passwords in one basic phone.

Hard Reset: If you have forgot the security code, you can perform a hard reset on your Nokia 105. Please note that a hard reset will erase all data on your phone, so make sure to back up any important information before proceeding. To perform a hard reset: Power off your phone. Press and hold the * and 3 keys, and then press and hold the Power button until the phone vibrates. Release the Power button but continue to hold the * and 3 keys until the phone reboots.

The pre-set code is normally 12345. To change the code, select Menu > Security settings > Change access codes > Change security code .

Have you set the code? Have you forgot it? If thats your case just follow the steps below: 1. Switch off the phone and remove the battery, then leave it for 30mins. 2. Put back the battery, but dont switch on the phone. Leave it for 15mins. 3. Switch it on, but dont try the code (if you do, it will still give a code error reply) 4. Leave it on for 30mins. 5. Then try your code and jump for joy! 😁

@@techleveller no the error is shown when I try to set a keyguard code. i haven't even set the code yet. it is a brand new phone I got it today and it doesn't let me put a keygurad code.
