My favorite line and it hits home. "Everyone can set goals, but not everyone keeps focus."

This is precisely what I have been searching, far and wide, across KZbin for. This video is a life-changer for me. The amount of detail gone into, combined with the ideas in Stoic philosophy, and a clear visualization of how to weave dreams, goals, systems, and habits together is why this video is a masterpiece.

Life is so weird I find 🤷🏾♂️... Much respect to everyone else who I've learned from. However, I just added a new entry to my journal: "the most important video I've ever watched "... Don't even think I'm exaggerating either. For whatever reason, you resonated so much with me.. Your approach and delivery... I'm wondering why I'm only now hearing about you... Your channel should be in the millions I think...it will be! Anyways thank you!!

Just a reflection I had made for myself about picturing one’s dream life - it does not have to be in future. Simplify the vision and start living your dream life today ❤️ I guess what I am saying is that if one focuses the dream life on how one feels and what one does day to day, who one surrounds oneself with and what one contributes to the world, your dream life does not have to be some far away future vision, it can be attainable in the present ❤️
@cristianomoniz3 жыл бұрын
I think you know about this but….. It is good in life to express our thoughts to say thanks to somebody who has the ability to transform our vision into something different. I want to say thank you because I was lost trying to develop a system for myself and I could find all the answers. And now I want to let you know that I'm very very happy that I watched your video to help me out with my personal problems. If nobody hasn’t said that to you, I wanna say thank you.

I get it with the goals. I have been following people who do yearly,quarterly,monthly etc. goal planning and task lists to the goal planning and well, I wouldn't be here if it was working. Goals are great tasks and the check lists for them are great But I knew something was missing. A system to execute to allow me to reach the goals. This so makes sense!

absolute successful living and ultimate goal is hearing the words "well done good and faithful servant" However - wow - my life is amazing - I have an amazing life with amazing marriage and smart capable adult children and two lovely grandchildren. Obvi my life isn't perfect but its perfect for me. Life isn't always sunny and rose smelling, yes I have sorrows and heartbreaks and family drama. That's part of being human and living life. Over all, the big picture, I'm happy and life is good. My big dreams include my health and seeing my grandchildren more.

fellow INTJ here. just bought the journals. I'm hesitant about journaling but I've been unable to keep my focus on the goals I've set so I will give this a shot. Time keeps passing by... and that time is lost now. I'm in a constant reassessment of my life, but more so during this time of year so the timing for this type of content right now is perfect.

I liked how you acknowledged the number of subscribers is somewhat beyond your control. I also like how you expounded upon and summarized your system of weekly plans, results, and post analysis. Greatest advice was shortening the time frame and the one goal. Very inspiring. Thank you!

Ah yes, a path forward for how to set goals, Thank You!! Question - I'm new to quarterly goals, how do you just choose one? What do you do with your other hours of the day? Why can't I work on 3 goals? Does it overwhelm ppl and they end up giving up? I want to build my business AND get fit. Do I treat the other goals as little side projects that I kind of do but my plans and focus are more about the big one goal? Or go haaard on that one, and next goal cycle choose the other goal? I feel like always choosing my business other things in my life will fall behind, like making a lovely home, and sustaining health.

Once you establish the smart goal, the next step is determining the proper intervention to achieve that goal and then evaluate the effectiveness of the interventions and finally modifying the plan to increase the chances of achieving the goal the next time around... I appreciate your instruction. Creating an overarching system to achieve your goals makes perfect sense. Using habits, which are specific thoughts and/or actions repeated so often they become automatic, is a perfect delivery system as long as the habits are helpful, not damaging. Thank you for the information. I say this next bit as an older woman with some hearing loss. Extra background noise makes it very difficult to hear what you’re saying and the background music was loud enough to that I was unable to hear all of your presentation. I say this not as a criticism just as an FYI.

Goals are good for giving you the incentive to act / develop your habits or "systems" in the first place. Make sure to break your goals down in to multiple, manageable steps in order to feel those smaller, daily successes and to not feel overwhelmed by the journey ahead, or underwhelmed when you hit your goal. If you do experience an anticlimax then that's fine, that's your experience, but you've still achieved. Perhaps it just means your goal wasn't something that is in line with your values, so perhaps first take a step back and ask yourself what you value in life in order to inform more satisfying goals.
