How to set the time and day/date on your Casio AE1200 or AE2100

How to set the time, date and some other settings on this watch including:
12 or 24 hour
Light duration
Daylight Saving Time
Mute the button beeps
Also how to correct the day when you can't actually set it specifically.

I was a teenager in the early to mid 1980s and I had a few Casios and this reminds me of the ones I had. Didn't have world time but had a few that looked similar. I miss those watches. Actually I have one still but half the LCD screen doesn't work.

Thank you. This helped me set my AE-12W. Followed your instructions through setting month and date then next the seconds indicator started flashing. It wasn't seconds. It was the last two digits of the year. (21 for 2021) I agree with the many who found this tutorial helpful.
