My advice is to use refillable cartridges, you then won’t need any hack. Refillable cartridges have a chip that resets each time you refill.

Just like add some comments to this product.. extremely fantastic..if you encounter a continuous problem with the rest button.. clean the bottom of the Head rest and it will reset the chips.. very good product

Hi, thanks for the great video - very useful info! We not long bought a n Epson XP-970 with 6 Ink Claria HD cartridges and want to install a CIS. Do you know roughly how much it costs to print a full colour A3 photo at 100% coverage? We only find 5% statistics based on 5% coverage and i'm not sure if that includes all 6 inks. Only need an estimate, so we can use it to estimate printing costs on a projects. Appreciate any info, thanks again :)

You most likely have air in the system. Try printing lots of black and magenta. Also try some head cleans.

redtails you can use both. Personally I would say use a good quality dye based ink as less likely to block. And yes definitely wear gloves. It's far easier to keep the ink off your hands rather than try get it off 😀 What printer do you have ?
